What did I tell you in my last post!

At our first meeting back after the Easter break Jane, who had given a great 10 minute presentation two weeks earlier, walked out of the meeting with a handful of referred business. The important leason to be learned from this is that the 'Givers Gain' philosophy works in many ways. In this instance Jane had given a great deal of time and thought to her presentation and the whole meeting appreciated this and put extra effort to find her some referrals. She is a new member and the group had taken its time to feel confident to start passing referrals and outstanding 10 minutes turned this round.

No Networking on Good Friday

My BNI chapter has decided to observe Good Friday by not meeting for breakfast. So I have had a lazy morning. However I will give you a summary of my last couple of weeks.

One of the highlights must be an excellent 10 minute talk on massage and relaxation techniques by Jane Glendenning who is a member at BNI Wellingborough. Without going into the detail of the content, the really important outcome of this presentation will be the increase in referred business that I am sure that she will receive. Everybody who saw the presentation will appreciate the huge amount of thought and work that went into it and that is why they are going to be working extra hard to find some referrals for her.
